It's that time again: CHLers at the Worlds

Read below for a list of players at this year's IIHF World Championship who played in the 2015–16 CHL season, or have since transferred to a club that will participate in 2016–17.

It's that time of year again, where club affiliations are put aside and players from the top hockey-playing nations in the world represent their countries at the IIHF World Championship.

As is always the case, players who competed in the Champions Hockey League will be abundant in the tournament, with 13 of the 16 teams having at least one player who played in the CHL this past season. This creates many interesting stories of teammates facing teammates – Farjestad Karlstad, Frolunda Gothenburg and HC Lugano all have players on three different national teams.

At last year's tournament we saw stories such as Karpat Oulu's Joonas Donksoi and Jonas Kemppainen parlay a solid season in the CHL and World Championship into NHL contracts, and the MVP of the CHL's first season, Mathis Olimb, team up with brother Ken Andre on Team Norway. What interesting stories will we see this year?

Below are a list of players at this year's World Championship who played in the CHL this past season, or have since transferred to a club that will compete in the 2016–17 CHL season.

BELARUS

CZECH REPUBLIC
