Defending CHL champions Frolunda Gothenburg are in firm control of their Round of 16 series with Eisbaren Berlin after a huge road win, taking a five-goal lead home with them. They won 6-1 thanks to three-point efforts from Cramo Top Scorer Casey Wellman and team captain Joel Lundqvist.

Sparta Prague 2–4 HV71 Linkoping
Martin Thornberg scored twice to reclaim his title of CHL Cramo Top Scorer with 11 points. More importantly, his goals provided the difference in his team's 4-2 win in Prague, giving HV71 a two-goal cushion heading home.
HC Lugano 3–2 ZSC Lions Zurich
In a back-and-forth battle between two Swiss NLA rivals that are well familiar with each other, HC Lugano earned an emotional, come-from-behind 3-2 win on home ice, and will take a one-goal lead into Zurich next week.
SC Bern 3–2 JYP Jyvaskyla
In front of another large home crowd, SC Bern remain unbeaten after seven CHL games this season. More importantly they lead by a goal after 60 minutes against JYP Jyvaskyla following a huge 3-2 comeback win.
Linkoping HC 1–1 IFK Helsinki
The final game of the day on Tuesday saw Linkoping HC and IFK Helsinki meet at the Saab Arena in Linkoping, with neither team taking the advantage in a 1-1 draw in Champions Hockey League Round of 16 play.
