The eight remaining CHL teams headed back into domestic action last week after the CHL and International break - we find out how they got on.
Sparta Prague's amazing comeback in Jonkoping was all the more impressive when you consider that in their own league, they are winless in four matches - two before beating HV71 away, and two after. They've dropped entirely out of the top six on that run, which over the weekend saw them go down to Chomutov and Hradec Kralove. Vitkovice are also not on the best run either, having lost three straight - two of which were after they went back to league action having beaten Liberec in the CHL. They stay 11/14 in the Extraliga.
In Switzerland, ZSC stay top of the pile after wins against Biel and Ambri over the weekend. Bern kept up the chase on the Lions though with two wins of their own over Zug and Lugano - both sides who were eliminated earlier in the CHL. Meanwhile stay just one place above last after beating Kloten but then being blanked at home by Zug.
The last remaining teams to look at are in Sweden's SHL, where Frolunda were the only side in the league's top two to win either of their games in the last two rounds - losing to Djurgarden but beaten Karlskrona to go back top of the league. Vaxjo are flipping in and out of the top six having beaten HV71 away, but then losing on home ice 4-3 after a shootout after leading 3-0 in the match. Finally Linkoping sit ninth overall following an OT win over Farjestad, but a shootout loss in Orebro.
