Vitkovice Ridera Ostrava 7–0 HK Nitra
HK Nitra might have been the Cinderella story of this year's CHL Group Stage, but it appears the clock struck midnight today in Ostrava, as Vitkovice scored a convincing 7-0 victory to take a strong grip on their ticket into the Round of 16.

Sparta Prague 1–1 Karpat Oulu
Last year Sparta Prague had a two-goal aggregate lead after the first game on home ice, but still lost to Karpat Oulu after 120 minutes had been played. This time, their task is more difficult after the same two teams skated to a 1-1 tie at O2 Arena.
Yunost Minsk 3–2 Frolunda Gothenburg
The guests from Gothenburg, Frolunda, started the game better, moving the puck offensively with quick pace and putting pressure on the defence of Yunost Minsk. Eventually, that would lead to an opening goal scored by youngster Kristian Vesalainen, who capitalized on his own rebound to put the puck in the net with 5:36 played of the game.
JYP Jyvaskyla 4–0 skelleftea AIK
Two years ago, JYP Jyvaskyla were defeated by Skelleftea AIK in the CHL Quarter-Finals. On Tuesday night, they took a big step towards revenge with a 4-0 home-ice win in the first leg of the Round of 32.
TPS Turku 1–1 IFK Helsinki
The final game of the Round of 32 will be extremely important for both TPS Turku and IFK Helsinki, who played to a 1-1 tie in Turku on Tuesday.
Tappara Tampere 0–2 SaiPa Lappeenranta
This is a match-up between two Liiga teams, but despite their respective places in the standings at the moment – Tappara first and SaiPa 11th – they reverted to their CHL Group Stage forms tonight, with the visitors from Lappeenranta winning 2-0. It was a stiflingly solid defensive effort from SaiPa from start to finish, allowing the Finnish champs just 11 shots on Jussi Olkinuora all game.
Red Bull Munich 1–1 Vaxjo Lakers
A well-contested opening period saw chances at both ends, with the Red Bulls probably having the more clear of them. Just under 6:10 played when Munich's Jonathan Matsumoto's wonderful deke on the red line got him clean through in on goal – however, his shot went only at Lakers' goalie Victor Andren.
Bili Tygri Liberec 4–1 Farjestad Karlstad
The first game out of two in the Round of 32 between Bili Tygri Liberec and Farjestad Karlstad is over, and the home team from the Czech Republic came out hard from the start. They managed to beat the swedes 4-1 after an impressive effort, and will carry that lead into the game in Karlstad next Tuesday.
KalPa Kuopio 2–0 Djurgarden Stockholm
KalPa Kupio outsmarted Djurgarden Stockholm at home in the first leg of the Round of 32. Thanks to solid defence and, especially, excellent goaltending, KalPa now have a great chance advancing in their first CHL playoff appearance after winning 2-0.
Red Bull Salzburg 1–4 SC Bern
The visitors from the Swiss capital got off to a good start, taking the lead through Maxim Noreau with just 8:04 played. That got start became a great one 2:42 later, as Mark Arcobello added to his assist on the opening goal to double Bern's lead with only 10:46 played.
Eisbaren Berlin 4–0 EV Zug
Last year Eisbaren Berlin made the CHL's Round of 16 thanks after starting off with a Petri Vehanen shutout at home. They're off to a good start of repeating that, after beating EV Zug 4-0 at Mercedez Benz Arena.
Grizzlys Wolfsburg 1–4 ZSC Lions Zurich
Last season, ZSC Lions Zurich went out in the Round of 32 after winning their group. This year, they've taken a step towards making sure that doesn't happen again by winning 4-1 against CHL newcomers Grizzlys Wolfsburg.
HC Lugano 4–1 HC Pilsen
In a game where two teams were playing their first ever CHL playoff games, HC Lugano prevailed on home ice, 4-1 over HC Pilsen.
HC Davos 4–7 Linkoping HC
The first game between HC Davos and Linkoping HC in the Round of 32 provided enough scoring to fill multiple games, with Linkoping taking the opener 7-4 on Tuesday at Vaillant Arena in Davos, Switzerland.
HC Kosice 1–1 Fribourg-Gotteron
In a game where both teams had periods of dominance but was ultimately an even game, 1-1 was a fair result between HC Kosice and Fribourg-Gotteron.
HV71 Jonkoping 2–0 Lukko Rauma
HV71 Jonkoping got the early lead they needed against Lukko Rauma, then protected it the rest of the way so that they'll take a two-goal lead into next week's game in Rauma.
