It’s arrived! After months of waiting and anticipation, the Champions Hockey League has seen its first faceoffs, in a tournament which promises to be enthralling for everyone involved. But not only for the players. Hockey fans all around the continent have long been yearning for a top level competition that sees the cream of the European crop pitted against each other, and finally their wish has been granted.
Yesterday’s opening day games could have only increased everyone’s enthusiasm. In a new series beginning on championshockeyleague.net, we’re going to be rounding up the best tweets which were sent during the games. The round of evening games on Thursday which saw a glut of goals and plenty of drama unfold certainly provoked conversation, and here are just some of the pick of the tweets which we’ve rounded up.
