With HC ‘05 Banska Bystrica winning the championship of the Slovak Liga on Saturday, all 32 teams that will compete in the 2017-18 edition of the Champions Hockey League are now known.
Below is a list of the 32 teams. The 24 clubs from the CHL’s six Founding Leagues are listed according to their countries, along with how they qualified. Below are the eight teams from Challenger Leagues, along with how they qualified.
Following the conclusion of all leagues involved, the 32 qualified teams will be ranked and placed into four baskets of eight teams each, in preparation for the CHL Group Stage Draw. The Draw takes place on Wednesday, 17 May at the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship in Cologne, Germany.
