From four choices, the winning design has been chosen by you, the fans, for the Champions Hockey League trophy.

Over the past week, CHL fans across the globe voted on the design for the new CHL championship trophy. Over 3200 votes were cast. Fans liked trophy No 2 the best and gave it over 50 percent of the total votes. The winning trophy was designed by Wesley Wernimont (weswerdesign.com) – a gifted graphics designer based in Minnesota who specializes in world-wide sports properties. The trophy is meant to reflect the robust character of hockey, but also its elegance. The trophy base is a hexagon to replicate the CHL logo.

Thanks to you all, the CHL can claim that this is the people’s trophy that will be handed over to the winners at the end of the CHL season.
