For the first time, the Czech Republic has two teams that have made it through to the Quarter-Finals of the Champions Hockey League – both Sparta Prague and Vitkovice Ridera Ostrava have made it this far despite not winning their groups.
We caught up with Sparta chairman Petr Bríza, who is also a CHL Board member. The former Olympic bronze medalist gave us his thoughts on what having two teams this far means for the CHL in the Czech Republic:
