Hockey goalies have always been a special breed of people. Anyone who chooses to stand in the way of vulcanised rubber flying at high speeds probably has some interesting other hobbies, too.
None more so than Malmö goalie Cristopher Nihlstorp. The Redhawks' stopper, when he's not at the rink, just loves Batman!
Casually reading superhero-stories in superhero-bedsheets
Nihlstorp has played in four Champions Hockey League seasons - the first two of the competition in Växjö, and the last pair in Malmö. He has two SHL titles to his name, the first with Färjestad Karlstad in 2011, the latter with the Lakers in 2015. He also has a Calder Cup under his belt too, from his time in the AHL with the Texas Stars.
But Batman is just a passion!
