23-year old winger Jarno Kärki scored two goals in this season's Champions Hockey League. His goal that was shortlisted for the Top 8 of the season came as Tappara crushed Wolfsburg on their own ice in Germany, after some fine individual play from Kristian Kuusela. After playing the beginning of the season for Tappara, Kärki moved to Ässät and recently signed a two-year contract with the team.
Alexander Mokshantsev scored four goals for the Nottingham Panthers as they became the first British team to make it into the Last 16. The Russian forward will however be in most fans' minds for the two equally memorable goals he scored on the way - the first being the one you can vote for, finishing a fine team move as the Panthers tied the score against SC Bern. Mokshantsev would then go on to score an amazing to-shelf- wrap-around as his team beat Turku to make the CHL Playoffs.
