After a four-day break the Champions Hockey League returns for Game Days 3 & 4. Here's a preview of the first day of action.
Mountfield HK will face Grenoble in Czechia for the first game of the week at 17:30 CEST. The 2020 Finalists won the first game against the French challengers 4-3 and will be hoping to make it 2/2 on home ice.
Tappara Tampere will play their first home game of the season against Slovan Bratislava at 18:00 CEST, whilst reigning CHL Champions Rögle Ängelholm will face Hungarian newcomers Fehérvár AV19 at 18:05 CEST. The Swedish side won both of their opening games of the season, including beating Fehérvár 2-1 on Game Day 2.
After winning 4-1 exactly a week ago, Red Bull Munich will rematch Rapperswil-Jona Lakers who are yet to win a game in the pan-European competition at 19:00 CEST.
Olimpija Ljubljana will play their first CHL game in the Slovenian capital against TPS Turku at 19:15, whilst ZSC Lions Zurich will get a second chance at beating GKS Katowice at 19:45 CEST after the Polish side spectacularly beat them 2-1 in OT on Game Day 2.
EV Zug will line-up against Grizzlys Wolfsburg at 19:45 CEST whilst Eisbären Berlin vs Frölunda Gothenburg will round out the first day of Game Day 3 action as the back-to-back German champions will meet the four-time CHL Champions after losing 7-1 to them on Saturday.
