After a long month off, the Champions Hockey League is back with seven action-packed games on opening night as the race to secure one of the 16 places in the Playoffs really heats up!
First to hit the ice will be HC Košice and Skellefteå AIK who will lock horns at 17:30 CEST, as will Ilves Tampere and Färjestad Karlstad in Finland.
ERC Ingolstadt will host reigning SHL champions the Växjö Lakers in Germany at 19:30 CEST, while fellow German team Red Bull Munich will take on familiar foes Lukko Rauma in a game scheduled to start simultaneously.
Swiss champions Genève-Servette will host Czech Extraliga regular season winners Dynamo Pardubice in the Swiss capital at 19:45 CEST as they look to secure safe passage into the Playoffs, while the Czechs will be looking to extend their three-game winning streak.
The Rapperswil-Jona Lakers will take on reigning CHL Champions Tappara Tampere in front of their faithful home fans at 19:45 CEST. These two sides met last season when the Swiss side beat the Finns away, while the champions-to-be beat them in the St. Galler Kantonalbank Arena. How will it end this time around?
Riding high off the back of their Game Day 4 win, their first of the season, the Belfast Giants will gear up for another home game at 20:00 CEST. The challengers? None other than reigning ICE champions Red Bull Salzburg. Don't miss this one!
