After the Group Stage Draw for the 2022/23 season of the Champions Hockey League, we spoke to representatives of the teams drawn into Group B to find out their thoughts about their opponents.
EV Zug Head Coach Dan Tangnes thinks that Group B is "a fun group", adding that "the CHL is a huge goal for us every year. We still haven't found our way far enough yet, so making it past the Quarter-Finals is our goal for the season."
Grizzlys Wolfsburg CEO Karl-Heinz Fliegauf thinks that it is "an interesting group" and is glad to be back for his team's third CHL appearance. Their goal for the first phase of the season is "to be one of the two teams that will move on to the next round", adding, "it's going to be a hard challenge for everybody, but I'm looking forward to the games."
Olimpija Ljubljana CEO Anze Ulcar is "really excited to be part of the CHL this season".
"We are very happy with the group and are excited to be playing against teams from all over Europe with different hockey cultures."
TPS Turku's Kai Koskinen is also happy with the Group Stage Draw: "It's really exciting to see newcomers and traditional teams in the CHL. There's an exciting journey ahead of us!"
