It's bound to be an exciting night of action in the Champions Hockey League on Friday as Groups G & H of this year's tournament finally make their season debut.
Our teams from Austria, France, Norway, and Ukraine have had to be patient while the CHL got underway last weekend, although these ultra-competitive groups are bound to be full of close matches.
We begin Friday's action at 18:00 with three exciting games. We have Norwegian champions Frisk Asker hosting Austrian stalwarts Red Bull Salzburg, as well as CHL debutants and Polish champions JKH GKS Jastrzębie up against Italy's HC Bolzano.
In addition, we also have Tappara Tampere, who were arguably the most impressive team in the CHL last weekend, welcoming Eisbären Berlin at 18:00.
At 18:30, a CHL puck drops in Ukraine for the first time, as HC Donbass Donetsk make their competition debut against returning Danish side Rungsted Seier Capital.
German side Pinguins Bremerhaven shocked Europe with their Game Day 1 win on the road against TPS Turku, and they play the return leg at 19:30, with the hosts strengthened by the return of their Slovenian trio from international duty.
Finally, Austrian champions KAC Klagenfurt begin their 2021/22 CHL campaign at 20:20, hosting perennial French contenders Rouen Dragons, who made the Playoffs in their most recent appearance in the competition three years ago.
