Champions Hockey League Game Days tend to go by FAST and it can be hard to catch everything that goes on in the pan-European competition - both on and off the ice.
We get it, and we want to help you keep on top of everything CHL so we've compiled a few of our favourite moments from the last week. Coming up today...
... our favourite goal of the week, Ilves's graphics, our content team on the road, Belfast fans in Rauma and Innsbruck beat WHO?!
Goal of the Week
There was a grand total of 154 goals scored across Game Days 1 & 2 but the Stavanger Oilers' equaliser in their 6-7 loss to the Växjö Lakers on Saturday was truly special. But don't take our word for it - take a look for yourself!
Innsbruck beat WHO?!
HC Innsbruck's 5-2 win over reigning Swiss champions Genève-Servette was the absolute highlight of the first day of CHL hockey of the season. The Austrians went 0-2 down within the first three minutes of the game before taking a complete U-turn, scoring five unanswered goals to take a huge win on their CHL debut!
Who would've seen this one coming!
Ilves's amazing graphics
Ilves Tampere's social media graphics (or drawings? We don't really know...) captivated us when they made their first appearance in the CHL last season and now that they're back we just have to share them with you all. FYI - they have a different one for each opponent they face!
CHL Feature Games
The official CHL content team travelled to Innsbruck for their Champions Hockey League debut againt Genève-Servette on Thursday before transfering to Ingolstadt for their game against Färjestad Karlstad on Saturday.
They recorded TikTok challenges, Arena Tours and gave you live coverage from the build up to the big games!
This week you can catch them in Pardubice for their clash with Stavanger on Thursday 7 September and Rapperswil for their clash with HC Košice on Sunday 10 September - save the dates!
Belfast fans meet the CEO!
Last but not least are the travelling fans of the Belfast Giants who ran into none other than CHL CEO Martin Baumann at the airport in Rauma. Excuse our wrong tag, Belfast fans - it was a late one for us.
