It’s more than just points for teams available in the final two games of Group Stage action of this year's Champions Hockey League, for some players and teams, there are some upcoming milestones that you can keep track of using our Milestone Tracker!
There isn’t much that Ryan Lasch hasn’t done in the CHL, but scoring 30 goals is one thing he’s yet to do. However, if he can add one more in the next two games for Frölunda Gothenburg against IFK Helsinki, then he’ll be the first player to hit 30 goals in the competition! Three assists in those two games and he'll reach 70 total assists. If he does both of them, then he’ll also become the CHL’s first-ever centurion, getting 100 points in the competition, an accomplishment that is unlikely to be matched any time soon.
If Lausanne HC find success in their final two Group Stage games, providing goaltender Tobias Stephan starts both of those games, then that will take him to 20 total wins in the CHL and he’ll finish the Group Stage with a total of 40 games played all-time in the competition.
40 is another big number for EV Zug Head Coach Dan Tangnes as he will end the Group Stage with two more games coached, taking his CHL total to 40, currently with a record of 23 wins in 38 contests.
Two active players are one point away from 25 total points, and after three points in the opening four games, there’s a chance that Max Friberg of Frölunda will hit that milestone in the next two games, with Lukko Rauma forward Arttu Ilomäki hoping to join him over the course of the next two games and Ilomäki also sitting on three-points right now.
Tappara Tampere forward Kristian Kuusela has had a great tournament so far with six assists, which leaves him just one shy of hitting 30 in his CHL career.
After the next two games, Fribourg-Gottéron will have played 30 total CHL games, and with their place in the Playoffs already confirmed, they’ll be hoping to extend that closer to 40 by the tournament's end.
Both Adler Mannheim and Sparta Prague are getting close to their century in goals, with Mannheim currently on 99 total goals and Sparta just behind them on 98, while HC Bolzano could reach a half century if they can score three in the next two games and mark their 50th CHL goal.
Red Bull Munich and Skellefteå AIK are getting close to the 30 win plateau. Munich need to beat Zug just once to hit that milestone, while Skellefteå, who need wins to keep their Playoff hopes alive, will need to get two against Tappara to hit that mark themselves.
