The Champions Hockey League is back with three huge games this Tuesday as six of Europe's very best teams look to start the Quarter-Finals with a win!
First up, a highly-anticipated clash of two Swedish giants as Skellefteå AIK face Färjestad Karlstad at 19:00 CET. Given their SHL coexistence, there are decades of history between these two bitter rivals but Färjestad have been getting the better of Skellefteå recently. Where better to mix it up than in the CHL?
19:45 CET will see reigning NL champions Genève-Servette square up against current SHL champions Växjö Lakers in Switzerland. The Swedes head into this tie as the only unbeaten team left in the CHL while Genève came back in spectacular fashion against DEL champions Red Bull Munich in the prior round to steal their place in the QFs - don't miss this one!
Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and Vítkovice Ridera will also lock horns at 19:45 CET as the two clash for a second time this season. Their first encounter was way back on Game Day 2 of the Regular Season and ended in a confident 4-1 win for the Czechs, but following a 7-2 aggregate smashing of a favoured Adler Mannheim in the Round of 16, Rapperswil are the team to beat at the moment...
Here’s the schedule for Tuesday (all times CET):
19:00 Skellefteå AIK vs. Färjestad Karlstad
19:45 Genève-Servette vs. Växjö Lakers
19:45 Rapperswil-Jona Lakers vs. Vítkovice Ridera
