Top game officials from the Czech Extraliga and the ICE Hockey League will take charge of this season's Champions Hockey League Final.
The Referees for the CHL Final on 1 March in Ängelholm (SWE) will be Robin Šír and Vladimír Pešina. Both are experienced officials who have worked for over 15 years in the Czech top league, officiating in 14 and 18 finals respectively. Both have also refereed many games at international level.
Šír was selected for the IIHF World Championship 2021 in Latvia and was assigned to the Final game of the U20 World Championship in 2018, while Pešina , who was selected as the best Referee in the Czech Republic in 2018/19, was selected for several U18 and U20 IIHF World Championships.
The pairing of Šír and Pešina will also mark the first time that Czech referees will be officiating a CHL final.
Running the lines will be Simon Riecken (AUT) and Oto Durmis (SVK), both working in the ICE Hockey League.
