This season's Super Fan Challenge winner has been chosen, meaning the lucky winner will receive a trip to the CHL final.

At the beginning of the 2018/19 season 32 Fan Ambassadors, one for each of the participating teams, were chosen from the many applications received over the summer. Each Fan Ambassador was rewarded with a special customised jersey and tickets to their team's CHL home games - but was also required to complete a series of tasks at each game. The Super Fan Challenge was set up to reward one ambassador who fulfilled all the requirements and more!

The winner, picked by a jury, is Philipp Förster - the Fan Ambassador of Red Bull Munich. "Aside from the challenges we set, Philipp really went beyond in a lot of the content he made for his own social media channels. He represented Red Bull Munich and the CHL in the best way possible, made new international friends, and really did his best to promote the experience of following his team in Europe." said CHL Communications Manager Monika Reinhard. "We'd like to thank each of the Fan Ambassadors we had with us this season, and hope they enjoyed their experience. We look forward to welcoming Philipp to the final - especially as he'll have the chance to cheer on his own team for one more game in this season's competition."

"I had some ideas about what the experience of being a Fan Ambassador would be like, and it was exactly how I hoped - I made international friends and built a network of hockey fans all over Europe," said Philipp of his experience this season. "It was an honour for me to watch every single game and create content from them, especially as my own team gave me special access close to the rink. I spent a lot of time cutting videos and editing photos, and I'm now so excited to be going to Gothenburg for the final."
