- Ice Tigers need just a point to qualify from Group F
- A win for Rouen sets up huge climax next week
- Teams in very opposite domestic form
Although they've only won one game so far, the Rouen Dragons host the THOMAS SABO Ice Tigers knowing a win keeps them very much in the hunt to make the next round.
The Dragons beat Mountfield last time out in the CHL to set up the home-ice showdown with the German side. They have reason to be in confident mood too - not only did they lead 2-0 against Kärpät in their only own European home game this season, but the French side are unbeaten in their own league with five regulation and three two-point wins from their opening eight games.
The Ice Tigers on the other hand had a bit of a torrid start in the DEL, resulting in Head Coach Kevin Gaudet being sacked. After three straight losses the side eventually got back to winning ways on Sunday, but have only 11 points from nine domestic matches so far. The team from Nuremberg need a point to make it into the Round of 16.
