- Johan Motin will look to add to the 2 goals he scored against Tychy in the first game
- Tychy could do Bolzano a huge favour if they claim their first points of the tournament
- Helsinki will hope to improve offensively after only scoring 7 goals in 3 matches
Helsinki need a convincing, goal-rich performance if they are to earn their first home win of the tournament and maintain pressure on the top two.
Fortunately for them they face a downtrodden GKS Tychy team that have conceded the most amount of goals in the tournament so far with 19. The two teams do however share a negative goal difference which is a factor Helsinki Head Coach Ari-Pekka Selin will be aware of. His team beat the Polish side by two goals in their last meeting which wouldn't be enough this time around to go above HC Bolzano should they lose to Skellefteå and lose big.
On the flip side of the coin, Tychy did enjoy holding the lead twice against the Finnish side but ultimately couldn’t go the full 60 minutes in front of their home fans. They will try to leave their mark on the tournament by dragging Helsinki, who have been inconsistent offensively, down with them.
