Malmo make their home CHL debut at home to Stavanger Oilers, who they beat last week thanks to a last-gasp winner. The Redhawks gave up leads in both of their opening two matches, but came away from the road trip with three points to tie KalPa behind leaders Brno.
"We played 38 very good minutes in KalPa before," said Head Coach Peter Andersson. "Of course we've watched the game through and reinforced some ideas to the guys but we're on the right track. As before, we're going to concentrate on our own game than worrying too much about the opposition."
Stavanger on the other hand can count themselves very unfortunate to have no points after their two home games, especially as both were lost by just a single goal. However, points here will bring them well back into contention to make the playoffs.
