IFK Helsinki probably did not expect that in Round 4 of the CHL they would have to win to stay alive, but after only picking up one point from four games that's exactly the situation they find themselves in. They must win to stay alive in the competition, unless Cracovia can beat Brynäs IF.
"We didn't control the game last time, and have to start a lot better against Munich. We didn't performance for three whole periods - we struggled with that and we have to get better," said Ari-Pekka Selin. "We have to focus on what went well and find a way to get through tough parts of the game. And also we need to score more goals."
"It was a big test for us in Cracovia, but we scored at good times," said Don Jackson after the game in Krakow. "We have to be confident with nine points, the guys are ready to go, and we feel like we are ocntenders to get through."
