- Swedes equalise with 1:22 to play
- OT goal with 11s left on the clock
- Storhamar with 3 points from both home games
Storhamar Hamar came back from two goals down on Friday night, but were victims to Djurgården Stockholm doing the same to them on Sunday evening.
After a goalless first period in Hamar, it was the Norwegian side - who came from two down against Tappara - who opened the scoring. Jens Jakobs' shot from the point was redirected out in front by Joel Johansson to go past Robin Jensen into the net at 27:55.
It was a fairly even affair throughout the opening periods with only that fine margin between the teams. With 42:25 played the hosts extended their lead, Steffen Thoresen's shot squeaking through Jensen to send the home fans wild.
They would however have a nervous wait until the end of the game. Djurgården pulled themselves a goal back through Daniel Brodin with just over eight minutes to go, and then had a late powerplay chance to level things up. Storhamar killed that off but with the extra attacker out, a scramble around the net eventually saw the perfect pass for Jacob Josefsson to fire into the net and silence the home crowd with a dramatic equaliser. As the clock ticked down it was the Swedes who put on the pressure, but Hamar held out to force overtime.
